Job summary

Catapult Learning is seeking a part-time Early Literacy Tutor to support students at partner schools in Hanover, MA. The role focuses on reading, writing, and math instruction using our curriculum to guide and empower learners.

The tutor will be responsible for assessing skill deficits, delivering prescribed instructional methods, and communicating progress to parents and school staff. Flexible scheduling and strong professional development are offered.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students
• Communicate and conference with parents providing information on student progress
• Deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company
• Attend training sessions and deliver designated instructional models and strategies in reading, math, and/or writing
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students safely to and from sessions.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company, local, state, and/or federal agencies.
• Attend and document meetings/training with Company Supervisors, classroom teachers, principals, and parents as required
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
