Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is seeking an Early Literacy Tutor (Part-Time) in Charlton, MA. You will advocate for students, mentor learners, and guide them to improve reading, mathematics, and writing using company materials.

Starting at USD $35.00 per hour, the role offers professional development opportunities and ongoing instructional support. Work时 in school settings with flexible scheduling for year-round or summer sessions.

Qualifications

• Non-licensed tutors: associate degree (or 2 years of study) from an accredited institution; or 48 semester hours/72 quarter hours.
• Licensed tutors: MA state-licensed teacher credentials.
• Tutors must complete an FBI/BCI background check.
• Teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate efforts in providing services to students.
• Communicate and conference with parents providing information on student progress.
• Deliver prescribed instructional delivery methods as determined by the Company.
• Attend training sessions and deliver instructional models and strategies in reading, math, and writing.
• Develop and maintain individualized skill-appropriate lesson plans.
• Ensure supervision of students, including escorting students to sessions.
• Establish and maintain student forms and files as required by the Company and agencies.
• Attend and document meetings with Supervisors, teachers, principals, and parents.
• Maintain inventory of educational materials and supplies.
