Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development is seeking a Teacher II for Early Head Start to create a safe, stimulating environment for children from birth to three years old. You will assist in preparing materials and supporting classroom activities to ensure smooth integration of EHS center and wrap-around services.

The role requires adherence to WCFD, DFS licensing, and NAEYC guidelines, along with Wyoming regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with children birth through 5 years including those with special needs.
• High attention to safety, hygiene, and daily routines.
• Willingness to pursue additional training or certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily planning and preparation of classroom activities.
• Provide direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Ensure staffing and childcare services during the day.
• Implement lesson plans in group and individual settings.
• Assist in monitoring child progress and IFSP implementation.
• Maintain childcare areas according to EHS and DFS requirements.
• Communicate effectively with families, staff and volunteers.
