Job summary

Wyoming Child & Family Development is seeking a Teacher II for Early Head Start to provide developmentally appropriate care for children from birth to age three. The role includes assisting in material prep and integrating classroom activities with wrap-around childcare services.

You will support staff, implement lesson plans, assist with IFSPs, and maintain safe, engaging environments. A CDA and a high school diploma are required, with ongoing training encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED and be 18+.
• Minimum CDA or equivalent credential.
• Willing to pursue additional training or certifications.
• WCFD will recognize credentials in line with Wyoming state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the daily planning and preparation of classroom activities.
• Provide direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and childcare services during the day.
• Implement lesson plans in various group sizes and activities.
• Assist in documenting child progress and IFSP implementation.
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and confidentiality in all areas.
• Communicate with families and community volunteers as required.
• Participate in trainings and perform other duties as assigned.
