Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development seeks an energetic Teacher II for the Early Head Start program to support birth to three-year-olds in a safe, nurturing environment. You will help prepare materials, organize activities, and assist in integrating EHS classroom routines and wrap-around child care services.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED with a CDA credential and willingness to pursue additional training.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with children birth through 5 years, including those with special needs.
• Reliable, organized, and detail oriented.
• Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required to collaborate with diverse individuals.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily planning and preparation of classroom activities and materials.
• Provide direct services to children, families, and staff in various settings.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and childcare services during the day.
• Implement lesson plans across individual, cooperative, and group activities.
• Assist in recording child progress and IFSP implementation.
• Maintain clean, safe, and developmentally appropriate classroom areas.
