Job summary

Wyoming Child and Family Development seeks a dedicated early childhood instructor to provide nurturing teacher-child interactions and to implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences for Birth to Five, aligned with Head Start outcomes and state standards. You will partner with parents to support their role as their child’s first teacher and ensure inclusive practices for all children.

Qualifications

• Must have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent
• Willingness to attain additional training or certifications
• Baccalaureate or advanced degree in ECE preferred
• Degrees from accredited institutions recognized by US Dept of Education only

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans and progress records.
• Assess and document children’s progress aligned with Head Start outcomes.
• Collaborate with parents/guardians to support school readiness goals.
• Create a safe, nurturing learning environment with positive behavior management.
• Follow agency policies, licensing requirements, and DFS/WCFD guidelines.
