Job summary
Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the Wilmington area. You will assist with daily living activities and help clients reach personal goals.

Qualifications
- NCI/CPI Training required.
- CPR/FA certification required.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- TB screening required.
- Active driver's license required.
- Experience with individuals with IDD is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in English required.
- Technological proficiency with mobile devices for documentation.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal prep, and household chores.
- May transport clients to and from community activities.
- Support individuals in achieving developmental goals and fostering independence.
- Encourage community participation and accompany individuals on outings and social activities.
- Document observations and progress on goals and ensure a safe environment for clients.
