Responsibilities include daily living activities, transportation to community activities, and documenting progress, while encouraging community participation and ensuring safety and respectful, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• TB screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Active driver’s license required.
• Experience with IDD a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and English proficiency.
• Proficiency with mobile devices for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal prep, and household chores.
• May transport clients to and from community activities.
• Support individuals in achieving developmental goals and fostering independence.
• Encourage community participation and accompany individuals on outings and social activities.
• Document observations and progress on goals and ensure a safe environment for the client.
