Job summary

AIM Services Inc is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide care and support in the home and community. You will implement each person’s plan of care to promote independence and dignity, assist with daily living activities, and help maintain safety and wellbeing for individuals with diverse abilities.

Role requires compassionate, patient interaction, documentation of care, and adherence to agency policies.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification required or training provided.
• AMAP certification required or training provided.
• SCIP certification required or training provided.
• Ability to remain professional, kind and patient at all times.
• Program-specific training provided by the agency.

Responsibilities

• Implement and document each person’s plan of care to promote independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living while respecting privacy and dignity.
• Support daily living tasks and household activities with the individuals served.
• Transport and escort to appointments as needed.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with agency policies.
• Attend trainings and mandatory meetings and maintain certifications.
