Job summary
At Peace Health Care Agency is seeking an experienced Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide person-centered care to individuals with IDD in home and community settings. The DSP will support daily living tasks, behavioral needs, mobility, transportation, and community participation while upholding individualized care plans and confidentiality under HIPAA and agency policies.

Qualifications
- Previous DSP experience is required.
- Experience with IDD and/or Autism.
- Experience with behavioral needs and BSPs preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct support with ADLs, personal care, mobility, and daily routines.
- Support individuals with IDD, Autism, and behavioral needs.
- Implement Individualized Support Plans and BSPs.
- Promote independence, dignity, and community involvement.
- Monitor and document progress and daily activities accurately.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, person-centered environment.
- Protect individual confidentiality and follow HIPAA and agency policies.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and the care team.
