Out Of The Box Solutions in Oregon is seeking a compassionate DSP to work one-on-one with individuals with ID/DD, helping with daily routines, community involvement, and personal goals in a respectful, empowering way.

You’ll support cooking, cleaning, personal care, and transportation; maintain care plans, document notes, and communicate with families. Must be 18+, HS diploma, 1+ year caregiving, valid license, background checks, CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must pass state-required background checks and ODDS employment eligibility requirements
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client)
• Help clients get into the community and stay engaged
• Follow care plans and goals
• Communicate with families and your team
• Complete notes and documentation
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times
