Job summary

Out of the Box Solutions is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work one-on-one with individuals with ID/DD in Oregon. You’ll support daily routines, help clients engage in community activities, and follow care plans with a compassionate, person-centered approach.

Ideal candidates are dependable, adaptable, and excellent communicators who can work independently. The role offers flexible hours, training, and the chance to make a meaningful impact every day.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must pass all state-required background checks and ODDS eligibility
• CPR/First Aid/AED or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines for clients in their homes
• Assist clients with community involvement and activities
• Follow individual care plans and goals
• Communicate with families and the care team
• Complete notes and documentation accurately
• Help ensure safety and well-being at all times
