Job summary

Out of the Box Solutions is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Oregon to provide one-on-one support for individuals with ID/DD. You’ll help with daily routines, community engagement, and achieving personal goals in a respectful, empowering way.

Ideal candidates bring reliability, a positive attitude, strong communication, and the ability to work independently. The role offers flexible scheduling and comprehensive benefits to support staff and clients.

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of caregiving or related experience
• Valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
• Smartphone required
• Must pass all state-required background checks and meet employment eligibility requirements
• CPR/First Aid/AED (or willing to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines (cooking, cleaning, personal care with the client)
• Help clients get into the community and stay engaged
• Follow care plans and goals
• Communicate with families and your team
• Complete notes and documentation
• Ensure safety and well-being at all times
