Job summary

Cardinal Services, Inc. of Indiana in Bremen, IN is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities enhance daily living skills and social participation, empowering them to be active in their communities.

As a part-time DSP, you will assist with personal care, budgeting, cooking, activities, and transportation. Comprehensive training, flexible scheduling, and benefits are provided to employees.

Qualifications

• A genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
• Supportive personality with a strong work ethic.
• No previous experience required; we offer comprehensive training.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to safely transport individuals and work in a Human Services setting with favorable background screens.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking, and personal hygiene.
• Support individuals in participating in activities at home and within the community.
• Implement and document program plans as directed by the Residential or Community Living Manager.
