Cardinal Services, Inc. of Indiana invites you to join our Cass Co. Adult Services team as a Direct Support Professional (DSP).

In this role you will assist individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to enhance social skills, independence, and daily living tasks in community and home settings. You don't need prior experience—comprehensive training and supportive supervision are provided. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling, weekend shifts, and a competitive hourly

Qualifications

• No previous experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Valid driver''s license and current auto insurance.
• Ability to safely transport individuals in a Human Services setting with background screens.
• Flexible scheduling for part-time or full-time positions.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living skills such as budgeting, cooking, and personal hygiene.
• Support individuals in participating in activities at home and within the community.
• Implement and document program plans as directed by the Residential or Community Living Manager.

Job Summary

Join Cardinal Services as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) and help individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities enhance their socialization and independent living skills. DSPs play a crucial role in assisting individuals to become active participants in their communities by leveraging their strengths, interests, and abilities. This position involves providing support in various settings, which may include personal care, daily living activities, job coaching, skill development, advocacy, and communication assistance, all aimed at helping individuals achieve their personal goals.

Key Responsibilities
