Weekend differential

Job summary

luinc is seeking a DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL to assist residents with daily living, personal care, transport, and community integration. You will implement ISP/BSP plans, document activities, and ensure safety and quality of care in a team setting.

Orientation completes before top pay steps, with weekend shifts earning a differential. Responsibilities include supporting residents to maintain dignity, manage daily schedules, cook, shop, and participate in activities while ensuring compliant

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
Must communicate effectively in English – written and spoken.
No disqualifying felony; not substantiated for abuse/neglect in Missouri.
Reliable transportation for transporting clients.
Must obtain Class E driver's license during new hire orientation and carry required auto insurance.
Must receive Seasonal Flu Vaccination.

Responsibilities

Provide high quality, person-centered services meeting best practice standards.
Follow Individual Support Plans and behavioral plans; provide supervision and support as needed.
Offer individualized activities and support informed choice and community participation.
Ensure documentation complies with laws and agency requirements; complete electronic records and event reports.
Maintain client records confidential; follow agency financial policies and procedures.
Assist with health and safety guidelines, health-related duties, and medications as trained.
Attend medical appointments and support travel plans for residents.
