Job summary

Chesterfield County Public Schools seeks an Instructional Assistant to support students with IEPs under a special education teacher. You will assist with materials, testing accommodations, and classroom tasks in general and special education settings.

Responsibilities include supervising students on bus, during lunch and recess, and providing clerical support, along with basic healthcare-related tasks as required by IEPs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to record grades and prepare instructional materials.
• Effective oral and written communication; professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teachers with classroom duties and accommodations.
• Support students in instructional activities, one-on-one and in groups.
• Supervise students on bus and during meals as indicated in IEP.
• Provide clerical support and maintain records.
• Participate in training for ASD and healthcare-related needs.
