Qualifications

• Knowledge of childhood growth and development and behavior management techniques.
• Ability to perform basic clerical tasks, communicate effectively in writing and orally.
• Proficiency with general academic subjects to support instruction.

Responsibilities

• Assist special education teachers with classroom duties (recording grades, preparing materials, accommodations).
• Support students during instructional activities (one-on-one, small groups, whole group).
• Document student progress as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with bus loading/unloading and supervise meals/recess per IEP.
• Provide clerical support (typing, filing, ordering supplies).
