Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a part-time hourly professional to support individuals in our Developmental Disability Programs. The role emphasizes self-determination, community involvement, and individualized supports as guided by Everyday Lives principles.

Qualifications include a degree or relevant experience, strong communication, and reliability; bilingual skills are a plus. Flexible scheduling may include evenings and weekends, with up to 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology or related field, or equivalent combination of education and paid experience.
• Experience working with young adults and/or adults is preferred.
• ACRES certification is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; EHR experience is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Status: Part Time Hourly

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Hourly Rate: $27.00

Schedule: Availability to work flexible hours; up to 40 hours per week. May include evenings and weekends

Summary of the Position: Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is invested in the belief of self-determination and positive approaches for all individuals that we serve in our Developmental Disability Programs. Qualifications/Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in psychology or a related field OR
• Bachelor's Degree in any other major with one year of paid experience OR
• Associates Degree or 60 completed college credits with three years of paid experience working with young adults and/or adults or
• High School Diploma or GED and one-year experience paid or volunteer, working with young adults and/or adults
• ACRES Certification is preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite; experience using an electronic health record (EHR) system is a plus.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance coverage is required.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
