Job summary

Express Employment Professionals is seeking an Employment Specialist to join the Braintree, MA team on an onsite, full-time basis. You will source and screen candidates, interview and place qualified individuals with local employers, while guiding job seekers on resumes and interview preparation.

You will collaborate with employers to define requirements, maintain candidate pipelines, support onboarding, and provide coaching to job seekers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Role Description

The Employment Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Braintree, MA. This position is responsible for identifying staffing needs, sourcing and screening candidates, conducting interviews, and matching qualified individuals with appropriate job opportunities. Daily tasks include collaborating with local employers to understand position requirements, maintaining candidate pipelines, and providing guidance to job seekers on resumes, applications, and interview preparation. The Employment Specialist also supports onboarding processes, delivers training or coaching sessions as needed, and ensures a high level of customer service to both clients and candidates. The role involves regular documentation in the applicant tracking system, follow-up calls, and coordination to meet placement goals and service standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Interviewing and Recruiting to assess candidate fit and manage the hiring process.
• Ability to provide Training and coaching to job seekers on job search techniques and workplace expectations.
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple openings, follow-ups, and administrative tasks.
• Experience in staffing, HR, or related fields is preferred; knowledge of local labor market is a plus.
• Comfort with office software and applicant tracking systems; ability to learn new tools quickly.
• High level of professionalism, discretion, and respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
