Qualifications

• College degree required; JD helpful but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years' work experience in claims or related legal role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with internal and external contacts.
• Aptitude for evaluating, analyzing, and interpreting technical information.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a collaborative environment by raising new ideas and demonstrating teamwork.
• Complete accurate coverage, liability and damage investigations and evaluations.
• Develop strategies for early, cost-effective resolution of pre-litigation claims.
• Represent the company at meetings with management, partners, and mediations.
• Utilize technology systems to track and manage caseload efficiently.
• Build relationships with clients, underwriters and agents.
• Adhere to compliance and regulatory requirements; ensure sound claim handling.
• Possess initiative and leadership skills; manage time effectively.
