Jackson Lewis P.C. in Sacramento, CA, seeks an Associate attorney with 4–6 years of employment law experience to defend and litigate a broad range of employment-related claims, and to advise and train employers on labor law issues.

The candidate should have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, CA Bar admission, and a strong ability to handle court, arbitration, and agency proceedings. This is a hybrid role based in California.

Qualifications

• JD from ABA accredited law school; strong academic credentials.
• 4–6 years of employment law experience preferred.
• Current CA Bar admission in good standing.
• Understanding of state and federal agency procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Defend and litigate employment-related lawsuits and agency charges.
• Advise, counsel, and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Class Action/PAGA experience is preferred but not required.
• Represent employers in court/arbitration, before agencies, and at mediations in employment matters.
