Jackson Lewis P.C. in Sacramento, CA, seeks an Associate attorney with 4–6 years of employment law experience to defend and litigate a broad range of employment-related claims, and to advise and train employers on labor law issues.

The candidate should have a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, CA Bar admission, and a strong ability to handle court, arbitration, and agency proceedings. This is a hybrid role based in California.

Overview

• Litigate and defend employers in lawsuits and agency charges covering a broad range of employment matters, including class/collective actions, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, contract, employment tort, and non-compete cases, appearing in court or arbitration, before administrative agencies, and at mediations.


• Advise, counsel, and train employers on various employment and labor law issues.


• Class Action/PAGA experience is preferred.


• Requires an understanding of current state and federal agency procedures.

For California, the expected salary range for this position is between $230,000 and $250,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses.
