Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney opportunity with a leading Am Law 100 firm in Dallas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a litigation associate interested in a sophisticated management-side employment litigation practice, representing employers in complex workplace disputes in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.
Ideal Background
- 2–6 years of employment litigation or labor and employment experience
- Experience representing employers in employment-related disputes
- Experience handling matters involving discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, restrictive covenants, and other workplace disputes
- Experience litigating matters in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies
- Strong experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other litigation documents
- Experience taking and defending depositions and working with fact and expert witnesses
- Experience handling EEOC and other administrative agency matters
- Experience with hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
- Ability to independently manage significant portions of matters while collaborating with partners and clients
- Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
- Texas bar admission required or ability to become admitted
