Job summary

Aligned Talent Acquisition is recruiting for an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney in Dallas. This Am Law 100 opportunity focuses on management-side employment litigation for employers in state and federal courts and before agencies.

The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years in employment litigation, strong drafting and deposition skills, and a valid ABA‑accredited JD with Texas bar admission or eligibility. Hybrid work model and substantial client interaction are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of employment litigation or labor and employment experience.
• Experience representing employers in employment-related disputes.
• Experience with discrimination, retaliation, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour claims, and other workplace disputes.
• Litigation in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies.
• Strong drafting of pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and working with witnesses.
• Experience handling EEOC and other administrative agency matters.
• Experience with hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Ability to independently manage significant portions of matters while collaborating with partners and clients.
• Strong research, writing, analytical and oral advocacy skills.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in complex employment litigation from inception through trial and appeal.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs and discovery requests; manage discovery responses.
• Take and defend depositions; work with fact and expert witnesses.
• Advise on strategy, negotiate resolutions, and oversee administrative agency matters.
• Prepare for hearings, mediation, arbitration and trial; collaborate with colleagues.
