Qualifications

• JD from ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to the CA State Bar and in good standing.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local workplace and employment law a plus.
• Understanding of current agency (state and federal) enforcement techniques a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Experience conducting trainings or workplace investigations preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures.
• Draft and revise incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans.
• Draft and revise policies, handbooks and other employee communication documents.
• Explain complex employment law issues to a range of audiences.
• Identify options and advise clients on practical legal solutions.
