Jackson Lewis, LLC in California seeks an Associate attorney with 2-4 years of relevant experience to handle wage-hour audits, draft compensation plans, and develop policies for clients. You will explain complex employment law issues to diverse audiences and guide practical legal solutions.

This position is for an Associate attorney for the firm’s Orange County, CA office.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of employer practices, including wage and hour policies and procedures;
• Draft and revise incentive compensation documents, including commission and bonus plans;
• Draft and revise policies, handbooks and other employee communication documents so that employees can easily understand what is expected of them;
• Explain complex employment law issues in a way that can be understandable to a range of audiences;
• Identify various problem-solving options, including the pros and cons of each option, so that clients can choose the practical and legal solution that works best for them.

For California, the expected salary range for this position is between $207,500 and $230,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses.
