Home Hope and Healing in Smithfield, ME is hiring an Employment Coordinator to recruit and onboard paraprofessional staff for our personal care program. The role works full-time, weekdays, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

at our Smithfield office, collaborating with the Employment Specialist. Responsibilities include posting ads, screening candidates, managing ATS, interviewing, checking references, and orienting new staff.

Qualifications

• 2+ years HR office experience preferred or an AS degree with office work experience.
• Familiarity with the home healthcare field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Post job ads on the company site and other job search sites and refresh as needed.
• Communicate with pre-applicants and applicants; assist with questions and provide support.
• Review application materials and follow up for missing information.
• Manage applicant flow in the ATS and coordinate with team members.
• Research PSS/CNA certificates and upload to the system.
• Conduct prescreening questions for pre-applicants; schedule and conduct interviews.
• Perform phone references and background checks; arrange orientation for new staff.
• Audit employment forms and ensure completeness; follow up on required files.
• Assist uncertified hires to enroll in outside training to obtain PSS certification.
