Jobot is recruiting for an Employment Associate with a strong focus on both litigation and day-to-day counseling for employer clients. The role blends courtroom work with practical guidance on personnel issues, compliance, and policy development.

We seek an attorney with 4+ years in employment law, capable of managing complex disputes and building direct client relationships in a fast-moving practice. Flexible hybrid schedule and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted (or eligible for admission) in Massachusetts.
• 4+ years of employment law experience at a law firm or similar setting.
• Demonstrated experience litigating employment matters and counseling employers on compliance.
• Track record drafting employment related policies and agreements.
• Hands-on experience conducting workplace investigations and supporting training initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of employment litigation, covering discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, restrictive covenants, and breach of contract claims.
• Represent employer clients before state and federal courts, as well as administrative agencies.
• Counsel clients on employment law compliance and best practices for the modern workplace.
• Draft and review workplace policies, employment agreements, and employee handbooks.
• Lead internal investigations and help design and deliver employment related training.
• Partner with colleagues and clients to craft pragmatic, risk conscious solutions to workplace challenges.
