Job summary

Jobot in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced employment litigator to handle a full range of workplace-related matters. The role offers a collaborative environment with a hybrid schedule, balancing in-office collaboration and remote work during the week.

You will own your caseload, manage pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motions, and advise employers on wage-hour, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation issues while coordinating with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of litigation experience focused on employment law.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, and motion practice.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and shifting priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Familiarity with wage-and-hour, discrimination, harassment and retaliation claims.

Responsibilities

• Handle a range of employment litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Manage pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Represent employer clients in administrative proceedings and related investigations.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions.
• Provide practical advice and legal analysis on workplace-related issues.
• Maintain consistent communication with clients and internal team members.
• Manage an active caseload with attention to efficiency and organization.
• Utilize internal systems and tools to track case progress and deadlines.
