gpac is seeking an Employment Attorney in South Boston to represent employers in state and federal court and handle all phases of litigation. You will draft and review employment and severance agreements and advise on risk management, compliance and equity compensation matters.

The role emphasizes practical, business-minded legal advice, collaboration with a team, and growth through meaningful client ownership and flexible in-office scheduling with remote work options.

Qualifications

• Experience practicing employment law with employer-side representation.
• Strong litigation experience in state and federal court.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in employment-related matters in state and federal court.
• Handle all phases of litigation, including discovery and depositions.
• Counsel employers on workplace matters, risk management and compliance.
• Draft and review employment and severance agreements.
• Advise on equity compensation, stock options and vesting.
• Perform pre-litigation negotiations and dispute resolution.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written work.
