Job summary

Confidential Employer in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced labor and employment attorney for a fully remote role. You will handle management-side matters, advise on federal and MA laws, draft complex agreements, and collaborate with a team on education-related clients.

Requirements include 2+ years of experience, active MA Bar license, and a JD from an accredited law school. Prior experience with schools or education-related clients is a plus. Interviews are virtual.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management-side labor and employment law experience
• Active Massachusetts Bar admission in good standing
• Experience with employment litigation, counseling, government agencies, arbitration, or traditional labor matters
• Strong legal writing, advocacy, and client communication skills
• Practical, strategic, proactive problem-solving approach
• Experience advising schools/educational institutions preferred

Responsibilities

• Represent employers in labor and employment matters before state and federal courts and government agencies
• Handle employment litigation from initial strategy through resolution
• Represent clients before agencies including MCAD, EEOC, and NLRB
• Advise employers on federal and Massachusetts employment laws and day-to-day workplace issues
• Draft employment agreements, policies, statements, motions, briefs, and other sophisticated documents
• Handle labor arbitrations, negotiations, and traditional labor matters
• Collaborate with experienced attorneys on complex employment, labor, and education-related matters
