Job summary

gpac is seeking an accomplished Employment Attorney with deep experience representing both employers and employees across litigation, transactional matters, counseling, and negotiation. This role offers a primarily remote arrangement and the opportunity to handle complex matters in state and federal court.

The ideal candidate holds a JD and active Massachusetts Bar license, with strong employment litigation and transactional experience.

Qualifications

• JD and active Massachusetts Bar license.
• Strong employment litigation and transactional experience.
• Base salary $125,000–$200,000+ with bonuses and 25% origination.

Responsibilities

• Employment litigation in state and federal court, including depositions, discovery, motions, and trial as needed.
• Drafting and negotiating employment and severance agreements, including executive packages with equity, stock options, and vesting.
• Counseling employers on terminations, discipline, personnel matters, and risk management.
• Counseling employees regarding potential claims, non-competes, and their legal options.
• Drafting and negotiating pre-litigation demand letters and settlements.
