Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s preferred in business, marketing, or related field.
• Three years of experience in business development or workforce development.
• Proven ability to build and maintain employer relationships.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel across the service area.

Responsibilities

• Identify, cultivate, and maintain relationships with employers in the service area.
• Conduct employer outreach and visits to assess workforce challenges.
• Promote customized and contract training and continuing education offerings.
• Develop opportunities for apprenticeships, internships, and educational pathways.
• Manage employer relationships from outreach to proposals and follow-up.
• Track outreach, training needs, and revenue outcomes in the CRM.
• Travel throughout the service area to meet employers and support engagements.
