Job summary

Eastern Iowa Community Colleges seeks a Continuing Education Program Manager to lead non-credit workforce training, expanding IT and other programs, and building employer partnerships. You will recruit instructors, develop curricula, and launch credentialing opportunities aligned with regional workforce needs.

The role supports growth across multiple program areas, funded through WTED, and collaborates with other CE managers to meet strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• At least three years project and/or program management experience.
• Ability to organize data, work independently and meet deadlines.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proven ability to recruit, train and retain instructors or staff.
• Exceptional communication skills and computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop curriculum and schedule continuing education training programs.
• Partner to create customized noncredit training for local business.
• Attend industry events and sales calls when needed.
• Recruit and manage CE instructors; devise innovative approaches.
• Negotiate contracts and maintain accurate records.
• Analyze trends and develop new programs in assigned topics.
• Market offerings, determine pricing, and review enrollment trends.
• Monitor budgets and ensure operating margins.
• Provide content input for marketing materials and website.
