Project JumpStart, Inc. in Baltimore, MD, is seeking a Manager, Employment Services to lead employer engagement and build a strong job-pipeline for graduates of our pre-apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in workforce development, employer development, or job placement.
• Strong knowledge of Maryland’s construction sector and apprenticeship structures.
• Proven ability to build and maintain professional employer relationships.
• Experience with placement tracking and performance reporting.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to equitable career access for marginalized communities.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with construction contractors, trade associations, unions, and industry partners.
• Identify and develop new job, apprenticeship, and pipeline opportunities across trades.
• Lead employer side of job matching and placements in collaboration with the Career Readiness Coordinator.
• Maintain placement and employer-pipeline data in the program's tracking system.
• Develop and present employer-partnership and placement-pipeline reports to leadership.
