Job summary

Building Talent Foundation seeks an Engagement Manager / Recruiter to recruit and place candidates into skilled trades education programs and contractor placements. This role builds relationships with local workforce centers, schools, and residential contractors to develop hiring funnels and career pathways.

The position involves managing end-to-end recruitment processes, collaborating with nonprofits and trade schools, and leading job fairs and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have recruiting experience that covers end-to-end sourcing and placement.
• Experience with Skilled Trades (Construction, Plumbing, Electric, HVAC) industries.
• 5–10 years recruiting, or sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create requisitions to hire, source, and screen candidates.
• Participate in interviews, check references and all relevant aspects of field recruitment.
• Establish and build relationships with residential contractors to build hiring funnels of students.
• Develop and implement recruitment strategies with local nonprofits and workforce organizations.
• Identify recruitment strategies with external agencies, industry associations, trade schools, colleges and service organizations.
• Develop initiatives such as career fairs and targeted advertising to maximize candidate pools.
• Collaborate with management to ensure recruitment processes are developed and delivered in support of initiatives.
• Advise supervisors on employment law pertinent to staffing in various states.
• Manage posting of field positions and report on recruitment activities.
