Job summary

Living Classrooms Foundation in Baltimore is seeking an Employment and Partnerships Specialist to build employer partnerships, identify employment opportunities, and support job placement and retention within the Workforce Development Department.

You will track outcomes, engage community partners, and represent the organization at events to expand employment opportunities for program participants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or related field.
• Excellent written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with unfamiliar individuals.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes Living Classrooms programs and services to employers, community partners, and other stakeholders.
• Meets regularly with employer partners to maintain relationships and identify employment opportunities.
• Conducts outreach to employers to introduce Living Classrooms and explore collaboration.
• Develops tangible employment opportunities for participants.
• Attends local workforce development events to build relationships and identify opportunities.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with local labor unions to create career pathways.
