Job summary

Civic Works is seeking an Employer Engagement & Career Services Manager to oversee Career Pathways, supervise two Career Navigators, and drive job placement and employer partnerships in Baltimore. The role emphasizes outreach to construction, solar, roofing, and utility tracks, with a focus on equity and participant outcomes.

You will manage placement services, coordinate employer engagement, and ensure data integrity in Salesforce, while advancing a cohesive, high-performing Career Services

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of people management experience.
• At least 5 years in workforce development, recruitment, and/or sales/account management.
• Proficiency with CRM systems and data tracking (Salesforce preferred).
• Experience in diverse, equitable, and inclusive environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop two Career Navigators and direct placement activities.
• Identify and cultivate employer relationships across sectors (UI, Solar, Roofing).
• Coordinate employer outreach, meetings, site visits, and events.
• Document participant and employer interactions in Salesforce.
• Plan and execute bi-annual job fairs and partner events.
• Ensure equity in hiring practices and program outcomes.
