Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking an Employee Resources Representative to deliver effective customer service by applying HR, Payroll, and Benefits policies. You will handle inquiries via calls, emails, and tickets, maintain HR data in Workday, and assist with pension and beneficiary processes.

You will also audit processes for accuracy, explain policies to employees, and support COBRA, open enrollment, and retirement tasks while collaborating with the HRIS and administration teams.

Qualifications

• 3 years’ experience in a customer facing role.
• 4-5 years’ experience in a customer facing role and working knowledge of or prior experience with an HRIS system.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• A four-year degree is preferred.
• Knowledge of Workday is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research and resolve employee and retiree inquiries via calls, emails, and service tickets.
• Maintain HR data and perform data entry in Workday and other HR systems.
• Explain company policies, benefits and procedures to employees.
• Provide HR reports to internal stakeholders.
• Train fellow Employee Resources Representatives and assist junior team members.
