The Opportunity

We have an exciting career opportunity for an Employee Relations Representative to leverage your strong investigation, performance management, and employee relations knowledge and skills, as well as data analytics and program management capabilities. You will provide a wide range of ER support to our global employee client-base as a key member of our people-focused ER team. You will work closely with our high-performing global ER team, People Business Partners, In-House Employment Counsel, Compliance, and other key stakeholders to uphold our Core Values and Culture Principles.

You will report to the Employee Relations Director, a seasoned leader who values open communication, professional development, and a strong work ethic. The role offers remote work flexibility, with optional office visits. Nutanix emphasizes results over face time and promotes a healthy work-life balance.

The role may require occasional travel to Nutanix offices or employee relations events, which is beneficial for relationship-building and understanding diverse work environments within the company.

Your Role

• Conduct workplace investigations independently or with guidance, including interviews, findings, documentation, and remediation recommendations.
• Partner with People Business Partners, Legal, Benefits, and other stakeholders to manage routine employee relations matters such as LOAs, immigration, mediation, and performance management.
• Interpret and apply Nutanix policies, Core Values, and Code of Business Conduct to workplace concerns.
• Design, optimize, implement, and maintain ER case management tools, dashboards, and reports as an ER Data SME.
• Analyze ER data for metrics reporting, trend identification, and process improvements.
• Develop and implement ER process enhancements based on best practices.
• Support ER/HR training through presentations and enablement sessions.
• Participate in special projects like ER system implementation, affirmative action reporting, and training delivery.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, with a strong interest in employee relations or employment law.
• At least 3 years of HR experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience as a HR Generalist, ER Analyst, or similar, preferably in hi-tech.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into meaningful insights.
• Critical thinking skills, especially in end-to-end processes.
• High productivity and quality output.
• Knowledge of corrective actions, investigations, labor laws, leaves, and workplace accommodations.
• Understanding of labor laws, immigration, and leave of absence policies is highly desirable.
• 1-2 years of experience with data analytics tools, ER case management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, HR Acuity), and Tableau.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Resourcefulness and quick thinking in ambiguous situations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Slack, Outlook, Google Docs, Workday, Zoom.
• Experience setting up large meetings/webinars in Zoom with advanced features is preferred.
• Experience in global ER partnerships is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed and work flexible hours.
• This position can be remote or hybrid.

The salary range is USD $83,840 to $168,120 annually, with compensation influenced by experience, skills, and location. Benefits include medical, financial, and other perks. Details will be provided upon offer. The position is at-will, and salary/benefits may be adjusted.
