The Opportunity

We have an exciting career opportunity for an Employee Relations Representative to leverage your strong investigation, performance management, and employee relations knowledge and skills, as well as data analytics and program management capabilities. You will provide a wide range of ER support to our global employee client-base as a key member of our people-focused ER team. This role involves collaboration with our high-performing global ER team, People Business Partners, In-House Employment Counsel, Compliance, and other stakeholders to uphold our Core Values and Culture Principles.

You will report to the Employee Relations Director, a seasoned leader who values open communication, professional development, and a strong work ethic. The role offers flexibility to work remotely, with optional office visits. Nutanix promotes work-life balance, emphasizing results over face time.

The role may require occasional travel to Nutanix offices or employee relations events, which is beneficial for relationship building and understanding diverse work environments.

Your Role

1. Conduct workplace investigations independently or with guidance, including interviews, findings, documentation, and remediation recommendations.
2. Partner with People Business Partners, Legal, Benefits, and other stakeholders to manage routine employee relations matters such as LOAs, immigration, mediation, and performance management.
3. Interpret and apply Nutanix policies, Core Values, and Code of Business Conduct to address workplace issues.
4. Serve as an ER Data Subject Matter Expert, designing and maintaining case management tools, dashboards, and reports.
5. Analyze ER data for metrics reporting, trend identification, and process improvement recommendations.
6. Implement ER process improvements based on best practices within the global ER team and stakeholders.
7. Support ER/HR training through presentation design and delivery.
8. Participate in special projects such as ER system implementations, affirmative action reporting, and training delivery.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field, with interest or experience in employee relations or employment law.
• Minimum 3 years HR experience or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience as a HR Generalist, ER Analyst, or similar role in high-tech preferred.
• Ability to synthesize complex information into meaningful insights.
• Strong critical thinking skills related to end-to-end processes.
• High productivity and quality output.
• Knowledge of corrective action, investigations, labor laws, leaves, and accommodations.
• Understanding of labor laws, immigration, and leave policies preferred.
• 1-2 years experience with data analytics tools, ER case management platforms (ServiceNow, HR Acuity), and Tableau.
• Effective multitasking and deadline management skills.
• Resourcefulness and quick thinking in ambiguous situations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Slack, Outlook, Google Docs, Workday, Zoom.
• Experience in setting up large meetings/webinars using Zoom features is highly desired.
• Experience with Global ER Partnerships is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Flexibility to work flexible hours.
• This position can be remote or hybrid.

The salary range is estimated between USD $83,840 and $168,120 annually, with compensation depending on various factors. Benefits include medical, financial, and other perks. Details will be provided upon offer. The position is at-will, with the company reserving rights to modify compensation and benefits.
