Job summary

CLS Health is seeking an Employee Relations (ER) Partner to advise leaders and staff on employee relations matters, investigations, payroll administration, policy interpretation, and regulatory compliance in Houston, TX. This role ensures fair, legal, and consistent people practices while supporting accurate payroll operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field.
• 2–5 years in employee relations or HR generalist roles.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations.
• Knowledge of payroll processing and timekeeping.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as ER advisor to leaders and employees.
• Coach managers on performance management and disciplinary actions.
• Conduct impartial workplace investigations.
• Prepare investigation summaries and records.
• Partner with HR, Legal, Payroll, and leadership.
• Manage unemployment claims and hearings.
