Job summary

Robinhood is seeking an Employee Relations Business Partner to support day-to-day ER operations and maintain a fair, compliant workplace. This role is ideal for someone early in HR who wants to learn the foundations of employee relations and contribute across multiple areas.

The position is based in Chicago, IL and Westlake, TX with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week. You will work with cross-functional partners and HR systems to ensure rigorous ER practices and governance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of HR experience with a focus on employee relations or HR business partner work in fast-growing environments.
• Ability to drive ER strategies across levels and departments.
• Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and core HR practices.
• Experience with performance management, corrective actions, and conflict resolution; capable of handling complex conversations.

Responsibilities

• Align ER policies with legal requirements and company values.
• Track feedback, research, and coordinate updates with stakeholders.
• Support cross-functional partners; prepare resources and schedule meetings.
• Assist ER investigations and observe interviews with senior ER members.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development and Legal on ER training initiatives and materials.
• Maintain case records in HR Acuity and ensure compliance in documentation.
