Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States seeks an experienced Employee Relations professional to manage investigations, coaching, and day-to-day HR guidance for field managers and regional leaders. You will partner with CoE and Shared Services, handling diverse employee matters in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

The role requires 3–5+ years in Employee Relations, strong confidentiality, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3-5 years in direct Employee Relations roles in a large organization.
• Strong business acumen including financial and business operations to support HR guidance.
• Extensive knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws including leave regulations.
• Ability to handle high-volume case load with confidentiality and discretion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; 10% travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Manages a wide range of general employee relations matters including performance management and workplace investigations.
• Provides coaching and guidance to employees and managers; identifies root-causes in engagement issues.
• Counsels and makes recommendations in line with regulatory requirements, HR policies, and code of ethics.
• Guides performance management plans and progressive discipline; collaborates with Legal/Compliance on high-risk cases.
• Ensures timely responses, proper documentation, reporting, and adherence to service levels; provides crisis support.
