Job summary

Hawaii State Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Professional in Downtown Honolulu to advise leaders and staff on workplace concerns, policy interpretation, and corrective actions.

The role administers the employee relations program, conducts investigations, analyzes findings, and develops compliant recommendations while coordinating annual coaching and performance management initiatives to boost accountability and engagement.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in employee relations or HR function.
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements related to workplace investigations and conflict resolution practices.
• Strong interpersonal, conflict resolution, and relationship-building skills.
• Ensure confidentiality and exercise sound judgment handling sensitive information.
• Strong understanding of employment regulations, labor laws, and compliance standards (EEOC, FMLA, HFLL, ADA).
• Experience delivering training programs and conducting program analysis to improve processes.

• Conduct workplace investigations and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Administer performance management and annual coaching programs with clear communication plans.
