Maximus is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to support the centralized ER team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The role focuses on investigations, providing guidance to managers, and ensuring compliance with EEO, ADA and FMLA while partnering with HR, Legal, and Compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of HR experience, strong communication, and Excel skills. This role offers growth opportunities within a dynamic ER group at Maximus.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years HR-related experience.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of human capital practices, techniques, and standards.
• Good judgment, multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with case management systems.
• Ability to evaluate facts and deliver findings on sensitive cases clearly.
• Exceptional attention to detail in documentation and processes.
• Ability to collaborate with HR, Legal and other stakeholders to drive solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage moderately complex workplace investigations and draft reports.
• Provide guidance to people managers on performance, terminations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Monitor ER entry point and escalate complex matters to senior ER leadership.
• Possess working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws including EEO, ADA, FMLA.
• Recommend actions to resolve conflicts and create aftercare plans.
• Assist with ER projects and programs.
• Assess risk and escalate/report issues timely in line with Maximus values.
