Maximus is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join the centralized ER team. You will lead investigations, draft reports, and work with HR partners, Legal, and Compliance to resolve workplace issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years HR experience, strong Excel skills, and excellent communication. You will interpret policies, advise managers, and help ensure compliant, ethical outcomes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree with minimum of 3 years HR-related experience.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of human capital practices, techniques, and standards.
• Requires good judgment, organizational, multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and experience with case management systems preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to evaluate facts, deliver findings and recommendations on sensitive cases.
• Exceptional attention to detail in documentation and processes.
• Enjoys partnering with HR colleagues, Legal, and other stakeholder groups to implement solutions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage moderately complex workplace investigations and draft comprehensive investigative reports.
• Provide guidance to people managers on performance management, involuntary terminations, conflict resolution, and policy interpretation.
• Monitor ER inquiries and escalate complex matters to senior ER leadership.
• Possess working knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws including EEO, ADA, FMLA.
• Recommend actions to resolve conflicts and monitor aftercare plans.
• Assist with ER division projects and programs.
• Assess risk and report issues aligning with Maximus values.
