Snelling Staffing & Recruiting in Lubbock, TX seeks an Employee Relations Specialist to join its Human Resources team. The role focuses on fostering a positive workplace culture, applying policies consistently, and advising leaders and employees on sensitive personnel matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations
• Strong working knowledge of employment law, disciplinary procedures, and HR best practices
• Professional HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, etc.) preferred
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed

Responsabilités

• Provide guidance to supervisors and employees on workplace issues, performance concerns, conduct matters, and policy interpretation
• Administer corrective action processes and performance management programs to ensure consistency and compliance
• Conduct thorough, objective workplace investigations and document findings clearly and professionally
• Partner with leadership to develop performance improvement plans and coaching strategies
• Serve as a neutral resource during conflict resolution discussions and employee meetings
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with HR standards and legal requirements
• Monitor employee relations trends and recommend proactive solutions to reduce risk and strengthen engagement
• Assist with development, interpretation, and communication of HR policies and procedures
• Support employee engagement, retention initiatives, and organizational development efforts
• Deliver or coordinate training for supervisors on documentation, coaching, compliance, and conflict management
• Ensure adherence to applicable employment laws, regulations, and internal standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional HR partners on special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
