Job summary

Flagger Force, LLC seeks an Employee Relations Specialist to review, process, and coordinate disciplinary requests from Field Leadership. The role verifies policy requirements, prepares corrective action materials, and maintains accurate case records.

Working with the Employee Relations Manager, the specialist ensures fair, well-documented handling of performance, attendance, conduct, and workplace concerns.

Qualifications

• Education and experience in HR with emphasis on employee relations.
• Ability to process disciplinary actions and follow policy guidelines.
• Experience supporting an hourly, field-based, multi-location workforce desirable.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process disciplinary/intervention requests from Field Leadership.
• Assess information for completeness, accuracy, policy alignment, and consistency; request clarifications as needed.
• Prepare and coordinate warnings, improvement plans, coaching docs, and other corrective action materials for review.
• Advise leadership on documentation expectations and appropriate interventions; avoid high-risk actions.
• Track requests from intake to closure; follow up on items and deadlines.
• Coordinate with ER Manager on terminations, suspensions, or sensitive matters.
• Conduct initial fact-gathering and support investigations through interviews and records review.
• Assist with complaint intake and escalation when needed.
• Maintain confidential HR records in systems and case files per procedures.
• Identify gaps in documentation or policy; suggest improvements and coaching.
• Communicate process steps and status to employees and leaders.
